Summer Max OG Cover Crop Mix - 50 lb Bag

Warm-season cover crop mix blended for maximum summer growth, weed suppression, and soil building. Vigorous combination of annual grasses, broadleaves, and legumes. Will compete with weeds and create superior biomass yields. Ideal for summer fallow soil building, prevent plant acres or as a diverse forage mix. Control mix at first sign of buckwheat/sunn hemp flowers to prevent volunteer seed. Introduce grazing animals slowly to Sunn Hemp-heavy stands.

Summer Max Mix varies, but can include cowpeas, soybeans, sunn hemp, millet, sorghum-sudangrass, oats, buckwheat, clover, cowpeas and sunflower. Please call to confirm current blend.

Legume inoculant recommended. 

Plant after all danger of frost has passed in the summer and up to 60 days before for full growth. Plant 50 - 75 lbs/acre.
